Description

The well known and worldwide respected chip set needed to wake up the M70 engine
The original DME mapping is for low octane fuel (89 or even less depending on export market).
In many countries this low octane fuel isn't available anymore and 95 octane is the minimum rating you can get.
Running high octane fuel with an engine mapping designed for lower octane fuel results in loss of power as the ignition timing is too late.
This chip set corrects it and is optimized for 95 octane fuel. Power increase is roughly 10%
In addition to that this set includes a modified EML chip fixing the WOT issue ( = no WOT below 4500rpm=
You get a much improved gas pedal response (some customers say it feels like 50HP extra) and the top speed governor is removed.
In total you recieve three Eproms and a link to the installation instructions.
Installation time is anywhere between 20 and 40 minutes depending on your / your mechanics skills.

Wolf is great! He has fantastic customer service. A BMW tech stripped a rear eccentric bolt during alignment. These bolts cannot be found anywhere. I searched everywhere. Wolf shipped me the V2 chips with the eccentric bolt set within a week to the USA. The instructions were simple and install is easy. EML takes a little time but if you relax the ribbon cables, it makes it easier to remove upper pins that are located inside the outside port. The chips transformed the car as many would say and is the best money spent on the car. I highly recommend the chips and Wolf. searched everywhere. got the chips and installed yesterday its absolutely amazing! it transformed the car in to a proper GT throttle response is immediate and perfect the engine runs stronger its a must! the engine runs stronger its a must!

Hi Wolf. I don't know where to find my chipset. If you'll show it as a part to buy, lets move my review. Guess it comes with the model specific M70B54S engine. You know ver 1 were too edgy and i could barely get off at first gear without burnouts. Must be awesome together with an automatoc trannie. Ver 2 is very edgy too but you'll learn how to handle it with a Getrag 6 shifter. HOW FUN ISN'T IT :) :) :) M70B54S engine. Hi Wolf, I’d like to let you know that I’ve finally managed to install the chips. As you said, the installation was easy and didn’t take very long at all. Your performance chips have completely transformed my car! The difference is simply amazing, it even idles more smoothly, the exhaust note sounds better than before and it now accelerates the way it should have always done, even in “Economy” mode.
